How to recover from tragedies

Hi friends!

Life is about ups and downs. Sometimes, something very wrong happens and we get completely broken. It is really a hard task to recollect all the dignity, all the strength, and motivation together and start again. But that’s what we are ought to do if we have to win over all the problems of life and keep going. That’s why we call it a challenge!
Here are the best tips practiced by me, which helped me a lot at times to recover from my miseries and start again a happy and even more successful life:

 1) Talk to yourself: The most important thing!

Analyse the situation clearly, with a clear unbiased mind. Recollect all situations right from the beginning and ask yourself, “Was I wrong?” Until and unless you are sure from within, that you gave your best and that whatever happened was a part of the destiny, you can’t accept it. This might even give you some solution to the problem (in case there is a scope).

  2) Talk to people:

This is the most ordinary advice but a very effective one too. Atleast trust your parents, your spouse or children. Confide in them what you are going through, what you have been facing.  Support of family is very important that would not let you feel alone.
Why not let your friends cheer your mood without letting them know??? Don’t miss a gossip or any conversation that you can take part into. If you can’t say much, atleast you can laugh at the jokes, or deviate your mind towards the issues other people might be facing. Talk to friends about happy things, crack jokes, talk anything foolish, but be with them.

  3) Write something:

Mostly, when we are in stress, we ruin ourselves with the strong negative thoughts. And doubtlessly, they are really very difficult to avoid. So, don’t control your emotions, instead let them manifest but they need to be translated into a productive and creative manner rather than destructive.  Try to write a poem, or an article, or a diary entry that can best describe yourself and your situation.

4) Drink lots of water:

Strange, but true! A sad mood attracts a bad health. One reason for this is that when we are in bad mood, we unconsciously drink less water, eat less, and do less activities. This ultimately weakens the immune system. So, the easiest solution is - keep a bottle full of water at your seat, and drink water at frequent intervals. In addition, this would also refresh your mind, and keep you distracted from your miseries.

  5) Immediately join a gym or dance classes:

Exercise is the best therapy to rejuvenate both body and mind. Also, you need distractions to avoid delving again and again into negative thoughts and starting a health regime will make you feel that you are pacing up with a greater speed and strength instead of giving up.

  6) Go shopping:

Buy something new, colourful and bright (for example clothes).  Go treat yourself. Try a new hairstyle, wear a good make-up, develope a trendy lifestyle. If you look good, and people appreciate you, then you feel good.

Remember, Problems are mandatory to occur in everyone’s life. But, Problems are a great teacher too. May God bless you with all the strength and courage to fight them, learn from them and get over them quickly.

Have a nice day.
